I have been with the agency since 1989, after graduating from Eastern Illinois University. I have been a lifelong Northern Illinois resident. My wife, Kelly, and I currently live in Rockford with our three children, Alexandra (Ali), Adam and Anna.

I have been an agent with Eckburg & Bates since 1994.  My wife, Lisa, and I are lifelong area residents with three very busy children.  We are actively involved in our church and enjoy sand volleyball in the summer and coaching our kids' teams.

After graduating from the University of Illinois in 1992, I taught high school chemistry, biology and physics for two years before coming to work here for the family business.  While working here, I have continued my insurance education through The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.  I have been a Certified Insurance Counselor since 2002 and continue to update my education every year with the CIC seminars.

I am a recent addition to Eckburg & Bates Agency. I grew up in Cleveland, OH and worked with my father in his financial planning business.  I was given a great opportunity in Rockford, decided to take it and that is how I ended up here.

I am a Rockford, IL native and after graduating from high school in Rockford I moved to Chicago to attend school at Harrington College of Design.  I received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design and then started working in the Architecture / Interior Design field.  My husband and I now have a house in Rockford and a Rhodesian Ridgeback dog named Tsavo.  We love golfing, boating, water skiing and anything that keeps us active!

I began my insurance career in 2009 and joined the Eckburg & Bates Agency immediately following licensure.  My license is in all lines of insurance, which include Accident / Health, Life, Property and Casualty.  I specialize in commercial insurance for business owners and provide competitive premiums for home and auto as well.  I look forward to meeting you and serving all of your insurance needs both locally and statewide!
